Little Honda
Sometimes I wish all the bikes in the garage could be picked up and carried around like Christina Cairo's little Honda. It's just plain tiny. And getting lighter every day. Of late, this 1978 CM185T is the proud recipient of some sweet new vintage tires so I can upgrade from the caster dolly in front. (That thing gets squirrelly in the turns.) I finally have all the parts for the RD250 front wheel swap and I'm determined to make it worth the trouble. Still chasing the brushed chrome tank technique around, hoping to find a raw metal look, minus the rust. Corey of Lloyd Vintage is helping me source some 6-volt parts as well as some other odds and ends. I'm currently looking around for 31mm clip-ons that I can modify for a slight beach cruiser position. Stay tuned for updates as this one makes its way towards a spring delivery.
